A new 81-storey tower is about to be constructed in Miami as the leader of 1414 Brickell LLC Walter Defortuna, submitted a pre-application to Miami-Dade County last month. They aim to redevelop a mixed-use property that as of present includes a 10,927-square-foot retail building and a 7,065-square-foot restaurant.
The new tower, that will be located on Brickell Avenue, will reach 1,010 feet after completion and it will be marked as the tallest Tower in Miami. It should be noted that it will surpass the Panorama Tower, which stands at 868 feet. The cost of the project is estimated at $1.83 million.
The development company plans to build a structure spanning over 1.21 acres. The proposed project will include 117,310 square feet for offices, 43,700 square feet for hotel use, 560 multifamily residential units, and 6,038 square feet of retail space. Residential units, starting on the 25th floor, will range in size from 533-square-foot studios to three-bedroom apartments of 1,907 square feet. Hotel rooms are planned for floors 20-24, while office spaces will be located on floors 13-17. Additionally, pools, a gym, and a spa will be constructed, and a bar will be situated on the 12th floor. The parking facilities will have the capacity to accommodate more than 1,226 vehicles.
